Louie, our 8 month old puppy (Poodle), playing and chasing a laser pointer with one of the cats, Lucy.

Louie was bought at a local Pet Store while only 3-4 weeks old; after bringing him home we realized he had some serious health issues due to the pet store not taking proper care of him, taking him from his mother too soon, and not being even remotely close to giving him the proper nutrition he needed. Louie would have constant seizures, vomit, randomly go unconscious, and more. Constant trips to the Vet and Animal Hospital didn't yield more than being told there wasn't much to do but "wait and see". Not accepting that as the only answer, we finally started to make progress after several more visits and tests.

Now, around 7 months later, he's a normal happy puppy and loves playing with his friends Lucy (in video) and Lance (another cat he loves). From growing up around cats Louie does lots of things you'd normally expect a cat to do, from trying to use the litter box to chasing laser pointers all day. After going through so much, he's thankfully developed into a strong, healthy, and happy puppy.

Don't let pet stores get away with mistreating their animals to save money! Every animal deserves a chance to grow up and happily run and play just like Louie and Lucy.
